    Re: APPOINTMENT!

Anyone know where the appointment system is up to re the last known date. My appointment wasn't until june however with it being the first one i am anxious to know. I have emailed about this four days ago and not got a reply. I have generated the new exercises and they are nearly all old ones which i suppose i expected has the others where nearly all hard.

Lee was supposed to go on the 27th may but when I contacted them about being missed they said that since Lee has been on the programme for a year and on mental tasks it was just as easy for him to update his exercises on mydore, keep going with them, as they were dealing with appointments for clients like yourself, who are new to the programme, so it shouldn't be long.  Lee seems more settled now that he knows they have not forgotten him.  They have said he can have a final assesment at the end if he wants.  Living in Malta this means a saving for us not having to fly back to uk every 6 weeks. Dont give up hope it should be soon.

    Re: APPOINTMENT!

Our next assessment wasn't until the 2nd July so it may mean us getting a call for my daughters assessment in about 4 weeks or so? If this is the case then thats going to be smack bang in the middle of our 2 week holiday. So, my question really is, do they leave messages on answering machines about appointments or are they made in writing as Im rather anxious for my daughter not to miss out. I realise with all the people waiting to be seen it may take a lot longer than 4 weeks to get to us and that's fine, I just don't want to miss it completely.

We received an email that we had to respond to if we were interested in having an appointment.

One of the local mothers here had a phone call from Dore about her appointment but like yu she was on holiday so they left it on the answer phone. She got the message a week later when she got back and rang them. The date they gave her wasn't comvenient, so they arranged one for later in the month for her, they do seem to be flexiable about when you can have the assessment. Ellie XXX

Thanks for letting me know Big Smile its certainly put my mind to rest. I've never had an email from them so I dont think they have my email address but I know they have my phone number.

I'll post on here when I hear something so people have a rough idea where abouts in chronological order they're up to.

    Re: APPOINTMENT!

Hi Paradise - our cancelled appointment was 15 June - we haven't heard anything yet - we too are off on holiday next week - will take a laptop with us so hopefully will get any news via email. Lots of people will probably be having holidays which will skew the list. I do know of a friend who has passed over her appointment (about 4 weeks ago) - we live in Northumberland so its quite a trip from here but we will be holidaying in Scotland - this too must have some bearing on take up of appointments. I wish I could get a number which gives me our place on the list. Not likely I realise. I wonder also if the number of previous appointments have any bearing ? I too will post any news.
